CAD / CAM
CAD/CAM is the most advanced technology available in dentistry for fabrication of crowns, veneers and implant restorations. Computer Aided Design (CAD) is a computer program that displays 3D images of teeth and gums allowing your dentist to precisely design the crowns to perfection. This design is sent to a Computer Aided milling machine (CAM) which creates the restorations to exact specifications.
Digital X-Ray
Patients safety is our number one priority here at Blue Dental which is why we use the NOMAD Pro 2 handheld X-ray machine. The external backscatter shield and internal radiation shielding are specially designed to protect the operator and the patient from radiation exposure. In fact, the exposure from using NOMAD Pro 2 is less than one percent of allowed occupational doses, thereby making it the world’s least radiation emitting digital X-ray machine.
Intra Oral Scanner
An intraoral scanner is a small, handheld device that is used by dental professionals to capture high-quality images of the teeth and gums. The scanner uses digital technology to create a 3D image of the patient's mouth, which can be used for diagnosis, treatment planning, and the creation of dental restorations.
Dental Laser
Laser dentistry is often painless and is considered to be a new era in dental surgery. We use soft tissue dental lasers in our treatment procedures. Lasers help in minimising bacterial infections, bleeding and damage to the surrounding tissue. This way, wounds heal faster which aids in tissue regeneration.
Sterilisation
Stringent sterilisation procedures are the primary basis for any good dental practice. At Blue Dental, your safety is our prime priority and sterilisation protocols are taken very seriously. We have incorporated surgical grade autoclaves together with other sterilisation procedures to ensure your safety. All the instruments that we use are pouched and then subjected to a high degree sterilisation procedure called AUTOCLAVING which destroys all microbial contamination.
